Sorry about the offtopic, but why did you name yourself as a plumber? I was just looking for some plumbing blogs and came across yours!

The technology I developed with is considered “Network Plumbing”. I thought “Joe the Plumber” was a silly part of the McCain presidential campaign as I always find it curious why many Americans would rather have a president that they’d like to have a beer with rather and that they can relate to, rather than a president they can admire and aspire to.
In the software world I consider myself more of a person people can have a beer with than somebody who can be a thought leader that people can aspire to. So, “Bill the Plumber” was born.
