Spring 2.5 supports meta-annotations for autowire qualifiers. There are a couple examples in the &lt;a href="http://static.springframework.org/spring/docs/2.5.x/reference/beans.html#beans-autowired-annotation-qualifiers" rel="nofollow"&gt;reference documentation&lt;/a&gt; (starting with the @Genre annotation).</description>
